Rimadesio at SiaGuest: the Lofthotel project.

"Good Design Hotel" was the fuclrum of the exhibition at the latest Sia Guest exhibition which took place at the Rimini Exhibition Centre from 21 to 24 November: a laboratory-like space covering 1500 sq.m. wherein nine architects' studios competed againsgt one another to design an environmentally-friendly hotel.
This is a subject that is of particular interest to Rimadesio, the company has partnered up with the CaberlonCaroppi Architectural Studio for this event. Lofthotel is the name of the design proposal: a project based on “a love of space, air and light”, to quote the designer, “ where the value of spaces is heightened to its maximum effect, in an attempt to link, to taint, one with the other, and to integrate habits, architecture and traditions”. The Link+ and Spin doors, the Velaria sliding panels and the new Abacus system, put together in a composition that joins the living room area to the walk-in wardrobe, are the Rimadesio systems used to give a finishing touch to the set.
