Rimadesio produces different types of glass, both on a structural and an aesthetic level.
As a matter of principle, all Rimadesio glass is absolutely safe in the environment of home furnishing.

Individual panes of glass undergo a tempering process which makes them 5 times as resistant as a normal pane of glass.
Alternatively, the panes of glass can be paired up with a film of polypropylene which prevents them from shattering.

The double panes of glass have a film of PVB polyvinyl-butyrate put between them, this increases their resistance.

Rimadesio has always been concerned with offering products which have an immediate use: for this reason colours and satin finishes, when used, are never put on the outer surface of the glass, but are protected from dust and scratches by being on the inside of the paired up panes of glass.

Rimadesio’s double panes of glass have a remarkable level of soundproofing – up to 32.5 dB.
