A new catalogue about the leading thread of the Rimadesio aesthetics for 2014: primary materials such as aluminium, glass, wood and leather are reinterpreted through technology with an environmentally sustainable care.
From the living area to the night area up to the office: a wider and wider variety of proposals for a collection able to interpret any space.
A virtual visit into the Rimadesio showroom in via Visconti di Modrone, in order to discover the novelties of the collection 2014. From complements to modular systems, the new Rimadesio proposals become more and more able to make complete projects for the living area.
The variety of finishes of aluminium and glass is enhanced by a new research on natural finishes, highly precious materials, like marble, regenerated leather and the new wood finishes of walnut and brushed black oak. One of the new stars of the collection is Alambra, a system of sideboards characterized by horizontal crosspieces. Another novelty is the new glass with metal net, available in three finishes aluminium, stainless steel and bronze and for the following doors and panels:
Siparium, Stripe, Velaria, Vela, Spin, Ghost and Quadrante. The storage stystem Cover is enriched by the introduction of new design possibilities and a wide range of accessories in castoro regenerated leather.
The restyling of the Rimadesio showroom is nearly completed. The official opening is scheduled for end September.
Located in via Milano, parallel to Corso Italia, a short walk from the historical center of the city, the new showroom sees Rimadesio continue its strong partnership with Rizzotti Trading. The two floor store will provide to professionals and to the public a doubled exhibition space of 200 sqm. The project is distinguished by the brightness of the spaces, architecturally interpreted according to the guidelines of the company, with epoxy floors and concrete walls, alternating with gray oak wall covering.
The renovated showroom will be able to provide a complete overview of the whole Rimadesio collection, thus expressing the best possible proposals and wide design possibilities.

The Rimadesio flagship store entertains the thirtieth meeting of Girl Geek Dinners Milano: dinners intended for women, who are passionate about technology, internet and new media. The habit of a happening exclusively dedicated to women, working in the field of the Information Technology was born in London in 2005, following an idea of the software engineer Sarah Blow. Since then, the GGD have spread all over the world, from Europe to America to Australia.
The theme of the Milanese dinner number thirty, invite only, is the technological home: not only a domestic space but also a family member, that can be controlled from the outside through a smartphone. The home is becoming more and more an environment, where electronic and new media exchange information, in order to make our stay more comfortable.
The Rimadesio showroom in via Visconti di Modrone is transformed into the ideal location where exploring the new home automation solutions and the objects of our future everyday, presented by main sponsor of the evening: Technogym and Philips.
The 2014 Milan Furniture Fair: the Rimadesio collection further expands its ability to interpret the contemporary living area, thanks to the widening of the Self modular system and to the new freestanding Self up units. The Wind bookcase presents new cabinets and modules and the new wall fixed version.
The continous Rimadesio research, aiming at combining maximum functionality and exclusive design solutions, reaches new potential through the development of the storage system Cover, with the new line of accessories in castoro regenerated leather, which includes a great variety of extractable trays for different use.
A new approach to the materials of the collection features the 2014 proposals: all aluminium elements are made of an alloy composed by 60% of recicled aluminium. The company does not even use any heavy metals and solvents in the coating process.

The feel experience is the new catalogue about the novelties presented at the 2014 Milan Furniture Fair and shown in the previous news: the evolution of Self and Wind day systems, the new cabinets on feet Self up, the exceptional great choice of internal equipments for the Cover storage system. A variety of proposals, defining a collection able to interpret any space.
Milan, Furniture Fair 2014: Rimadesio presents its most recent interpretation of the contemporary home. The complete collection is the main protagonist of the display space of 400 sqm: from the living area, explored through an exceptional variety of proposals in the central open space, to the night area, displayed with different walk-in closets and the evolution of the unique storage system Cover.
Walking through the entrance corridor, the visitors immediately notice one of the 2014 novelties: the Wind bookcase. The large open space in the middle of the booth, a regular feature in the Rimadesio display projects, is characterized by the latest proposals of Self and Abacus day systems, together with the new Alambra and Self up glass cabinets .
The variety also defines the interpretation of the wardrobe sytems, with the proposals of Dress and Abacus walk in closets and the unique versatility of the Cover project, displayed in two versions: bookcase and wardrobe. The middle room Dolmen composition completes the area dedicated to the night area.
A space designed to allow visitors to experience completely the new Rimadesio proposals, defined by the aesthetics of the two main corporate materials: glass and aluminium, which in 2014 have reached new standards of sustainable production. A unique style of living, inspired by the maximum stylistic coherence in each component of the design project.
The Corinthias Arena, which is the new Sao Paulo’s stadium, designed by Anibal Coutinho, is place where 2014 Football World Cup in Brazil had its first match.
Rimadesio contributed to this project with a supply of Link+ doors for the Sky Boxes, the reserved lounges directly overlooking the football field.
This unique experience led Rimadesio to the production of more than 500 doors and lacquered glass panels customized in every detail, from the extruded structural electrified locks to the opening pulse. A remarkable achievement, which makes the Rimadesio aesthetics and technology the main protagonists of a worldwide event.

Many professional and academic realities have taken part to the meeting “the italian excellence: technologies for the Italy-Brazil cooperation”, where they had the opportunity to face up to different themes like food, navigation and the relationship between design and architecture.
Rimadesio shared its experience by presenting the characteristics of its most innovative products such as the door Vela, the storage system Cover and table Manta.
Its presence confirms the continuous technological research and the attention that the company collection obtains by the international audience.

The new 250 square meter Rimadesio showroom has been opened in New York, in the center of Soho. Located in Crosby Street, defined by the New York Times "the street that has been renewed without loosing its own character," the new Rimadesio store is immersed in the atmosphere of "when the artists lived and worked in the loft"; and is very close to the Crosby Street Hotel and the MoMA Design Store.
The project, designed by Giacomo Fossati, exploits the classical New York architecture, creating a very bright open space, with double-high ceilings and an exhibition area on two floors, from the ground level to the basement. The layout is characterized by whitened wooden floors with raw metal platforms: an ideal setting to better show the suggestions and the stylistic interpretations of the Rimadesio collection.
The new Rimadesio Flagship store in Nice will be opened soon in the next weeks.
The two storey 60 sqm exhibition space, located in 50 Boulevard Victor Hugo near the famous Negresco Hotel, has been designed in order to become the reference point of the collection in the Bay des Anges; thus ensuring a complete view of Rimadesio’s interpretation of the contemporary living.
Soon the Genova showroom will be open again: the showroom situated on the road connecting the city to the road, parallel to Vittoria square, will be completely renovated. The architectural design will reflect the main features of all Rimadesio showrooms, with gray resin floor and concrete walls. The double height space will be charecterized by great light coming through the large windows overlooking Brigata Bisagno avenue.
A large double height Opus bookcase connects the ground floor to the mezzazine, thus ensuring a great scenographic impact. The showroom will present the whole collection, thus ensuring a deep understanding of the Rimadesio collection to professionals as well as general public.
On February 27th the new Rimadesio showroom in Tel Aviv has been opened.
Located in the central boulevard HaTa'arucha, near the Maccabiah stadium and the Marina, the 170 square meter exhibition space is divided into two areas, respectively dedicated to the living area and the walk-in closets.
Moreover there is an additional surface exploring the office solutions. The new Tel Aviv exhibition space, which is characterized by the brightness of the environment and the double height ceiling, is located in the new commercial hub of the city, becoming new point of reference for the study of the complete Rimadesio collection.

Rimadesio has joined ADI, the Association for the Industrial Design, the Italian reality gathering designers, companies and academia related to design: project, consumption, recycling, training. Since 1956 ADI's mission is to promote an idea of project awareness, ethical and socially sustinable.
After three selections Rimadesio becomes for all purposes and intents ADI Design Index and after getting in 2008 the first report of the Premio Compasso Award, also becomes an integral part of an association, leader of the development of the industrial design, as a cultural and economic phenomenon.
The new Mexican Rimadesio Flagship store, located in the Park Plaza commercial area in Santa Fè, has been opened on December, 5th 2013.
A bright 150 sqm open space, characterized by a glass window overlooking the adjacent green area of the commercial area. The space is completely dedicated to the collection, in order to explain the Rimadesio’s conception of living with all the possible solutions for for the house and workspaces.
